Day 3: January 3, 2009

Question 96:

If you didn't have to worry about money, what would you do with your life?

Responses:
  • Travel, work for a non-profit, be involved in education -- both at the giving and receiving end. And oh, yes --- I would most definitely hire all kinds of household help.
  • Quietly

Song:
Beginning of the End, by Brian Maddox

Lyrics:

there's a line / i wrote it in a song
there's a sign / that you knew it all along
guess that's how the story goes

and it's a crime / that someone must be wrong
but now it's time / time for me to play along
now the story comes to a close

this is the beginning
are you gonna play your part
this is the beginning
are you gonna tear my world apart
this is the beginning
how much longer must we pretend

it's the beginning of the end

there's a line / i drew it in the sand
there's a sign / this was always what you planned
guess that's how the story goes

it's a crime / when it's slippin' through your hands
but now it's time / time for me to take a stand
now the story comes to a close

this is the beginning
are you gonna take your toll
this is the beginning
are you gonna watch the credits roll
this is the beginning
how much longer must we pretend

it's the beginning of the end

leaving the stage
out of the cage
coming of age
turning the page
