Day 38: February 7, 2009

Question 69:
Which temptation do you try the hardest to resist?

Responses:
  • TV, beauty products, shoes, clothes, tobacco and eating more than 1 rice krispie treat at a sitting.
  • I try not to call people stupid because it’s usually hurtful and unproductive. But then apparently in my tone I imply that they are stupid even though I’ve resisted the outright urge to call them that. So I just come across as passive-aggressive. The real definition of passive-aggressive as opposed to what my stupid wife thought it was. She thought you were passive, passive, passive until you just couldn’t take it anymore and then you became aggressive. What a dolt! And then on top of that when I explained it to her she refused to believe my definition. Why? Not until someone backed my up would she accept her wrongness. Apparently I needed to be more passive and not as aggressive.

Song:
No One Does It Like You, by Department of Eagles

Lyrics:
Out in the morning come
You don't need to ask an alibi
And in the morning comes
You don't need to be so honest

And in the morning come
You don't need to ask an alibi
And in the morning comes
You don't need to breathe so easy

I laughed so hard I fell down
I cursed these lanes I walked on

No one does it like you
No one does it like you
I tried so hard
But no one does it like you
No one does it like you
But I tried so hard

I tried so hard
I tried so hard
